You’ll want to bring two toothbrushes to Basic Military Training. Not because one might wear out—but because one is for inspections and one is for actual use.

  • The display toothbrush is kept in the drawer of your locker.

    • You may use it once or twice at the very beginning so it looks slightly used (which is expected), but then you’ll clean it thoroughly and keep it spotless—no toothpaste residue, no gunk—just for inspections.

  • The real toothbrush is stored in your Tupperware tub and is the one you’ll actually use for brushing your teeth every day.
